300!:
PK and I are finally reaping the benefits of these Yankee season tickets we purchased. We were in attendence for Roger Clemens bid at 300 wins on Friday night. Despite the rain and cold, and the fact that PK wore nothing more than a t-shirt, it was one of those games that you will tell your grand-kids about. Electric... Section 37 was in full effect...

When I saw this game on the schedue, I wanted to go to give Tino Martinez and Joe Girardi their proper ovation during their first trip to Yankee Stadium since they played here. I figured Clemens would have 300 at this point, but it was just icing on the cake. I'll be honest with you, I'm not a hugh Clemens fan, in fact it was embedded in my head as a child to hate this man with everything I had. But no true Yankee fan can dispute the fact that he's been very good for us. He pitched some big games for us, nailed Mike Piazza in the head, and even took home a Cy Young award. Most importantly, he saved Andy Pettitte's career. Andy hit the skids in '99, and it was the Rocket who helped straighten him out.
