Buy This Album!:
I know this album has been out for a minute, but I just scooped it up off Amazon the other day. If you are looking to buy one CD, make sure you pick up RJD2's "The Horror". Unreal stuff, this dude is leaps and bounds ahead of anyone in the industry.

Weekend Highlights:
Well, this has been a wild weekend of sorts. Friday night consisted of some late night shenanigans with Juice, PK, Katie Matyas, Goldie, Zubin and Chris Au. Notably, I woke up at Jay’s house around 7:30 am and notice a nice chunk of glass wedged into my foot. After hobbling around on it for a while, I showed it to Ann Marie and after trying to get it out with a needle; she informed me I needed to go to the Emergency Room. F—k that is right. After some painful jabbing I managed to squeeze the sucker out myself. I now keep the glass in a little jar above my bed to remind me of the everyday struggle that I used to live. After all, I was needed on the softball field on Sunday, and I was not about to land myself on the 15-day DL.

Later that day, I tried going to the De La Soul concert at Summer Stage, but had no luck getting in. I ended up at a bar in Central Park with Katie and Ann Roddy tipping Corona’s and roasting in the sun…

Saturday night was interesting none the less. Ali Cooper, younger sister of Mike Cooper of Bias Ply fame, was having her 21st birthday bonanza at a hotel in White Plains. After being yelled at and threatened by the manager, we managed to have this little party in the room the breakfast room where people butter their bagels and drink their coffee. At one point of the evening, John Buchalter was playing flip-cups, darted to the hall way, barfed all over there, then proceeded to barf all over the bathroom. Typical Buchalter, he only had 2 beers and was trying to kick game to some girl there.

The next day was one for the ages. We managed to scrape together 18 of the finest athletes in Lower Westchester and had another amazing 18 inning softball game. The bet on the line was that if a team lost both games, the losers had to buy the winner’s dinner. Well, needless to say we managed to blow an 8 run lead and lost the first game, and Scott Spivak was dealing for 8 strong innings. He had us all off balance, the Jamie Moyer of softball. Long story short, despite Jay Camhi’s cheating ways, John Buchalter made up for a complete and utter meltdown in the field and on the bases with a clutch, 2 out, game winning RBI single in the bottom of the 9th to give us the win. Despite a premature celebration on an Ethan Schapira inside the park homerun which was later ruled a double, we rushed the field like the losers we are and celebrate the fact that we no longer had to buy anyone dinner.

In DF softball tradition, we had dinner at Cactus Jack’s in Elmsford. What a fiasco. Despite having the worst service in the world, the waiter asked Chuckling’ Chuck if he wanted to fight him in the parking lot after Chaz had a dispute with the bill and the gratuity added. Needless to say, myself, PK, Cooper, Buch, Geln, Chuck, Hal and Nick Kurrian are all probably being served with lifetime bans. We took some snaps of the roster in front of the place after promptly after.

Here are the pictures of us after the Cactus Jack's Debacle.
